How to avoid perfectionism when creating content.

Let's talk about >>> PERFECTIONISM
It’s hard to love what you do and *not* battle with perfectionism when crafting content, right?
You want to post content that makes impact and get everyone...
👉Liking
👉Commenting
👉Subscribing…
But the process seems MEGA long...
You keep on editing, changing and re-recording.
Your content never seems to be good enough for the share!
❌You end up bored with that caption
❌Afraid you may have an inspiration problem
❌ Or exhausted to keep on this hamster wheel every week!
And this gets even worse because you don’t see much progress or successes 🤯😭
But before you let yourself be dragged down by perfectionism…
You got a remember that...
Perfectionism is a simple sign of fear to negative outcome.
Which means your body is only protecting itself from danger of negative results.
BUT: if you want to level up your goals, you’ve got to rewire your brain and get a plan of action that lowers the fear your mind and body feels, which is what’s keeping you stuck.
So, here is the checklist I use, to beat fear of outcome:
#1 Before sitting down to write content, I read the storyline of my offer and I remind myself of the real needs my clients are facing. This helps me get into their shoes and feel that my advice is already welcome.
#2 I get inspired with content from my daily activities (*I ask: do I woke at a different hour to work? Did I finish earlier? Did I work from Miami instead of Madrid? What all of that has to say about my offer affecting my lifestyle?)
#3 And finally I always write following the process within our signature offer. Getting the inspirations down, filing up the thinking formats, getting the ideas shape….
I follow this process because is made to lower my body natural defences and give me clarity when writing.
So you see?
It’s YOUR BODY FEAR that overcomplicate things.
It tries to protect you from pain – but knowing this, give you the key to take control.
Now, you can be vigilant and get the right process that helps you avoid letting perfectionism kick in.
Let me know in the comments, what have you used to overcome perfectionism till now?
